What meaning does life have when we do what we do just so that we can say we did it? If I’m always pondering on the method I’m using to accomplish the desired results, or if I over-analyzing every situation I find myself in, then it becomes about me, because I’m translating everything that happens through the filter of what my narrow-viewpoint dictates rather than saying, what is needed, what do I believe, and then doing what is beneficial instead of what I think people want to see.

Don’t ask: when should I do something? Ask, how can I benefit someone. Don’t ask, why should I do something? Ask, how can I benefit someone. Rather than over-analyzing everything to the point where you can basically do whatever you want to do, consider the repercussions of your actions. If I believe what I say I believe, I won’t have a problem using my time for something that creates real results.
